On March 4th (the second day of the second lunar month), the sun was shining brightly, and a gentle breeze was blowing. On this "Dragon Head Raising" day, which signifies good fortune for the year, the Jingmen Hongtu Quanzhou Guoheng spherical tank project held a grand groundbreaking ceremony. The ceremony was organized by the Jingmen Hongtu Quanzhou Guoheng project department, with the participation of the construction unit, the general contractor, and the supervision unit. Zhang Congming, general manager of Quanzhou Guoheng Company, also attended the ceremony to witness this important moment! The ceremony site was filled with the roar of celebratory cannons, and everyone was jubilant, with applause and cheers echoing.
It is understood that Quanzhou Guoheng is a Taiwanese-funded enterprise. The company plans to build a 660,000-ton/year propane dehydrogenation (PDH) and a 450,000-ton/year polypropylene (PP) project. Through the introduction of Quanzhou Zhongran Company, our company established contact with Quanzhou Guoheng headquarters. Due to the impact of the epidemic, we were unable to visit the headquarters for on-site contact, so we conducted communication and exchange through online video. Guoheng Company has extremely high requirements for product production, manufacturing, and operation management, but our company, with its strong corporate strength, remarkable achievements in recent years, and good industry reputation, ultimately won the recognition of the client and stood out among many competing companies, successfully winning the manufacturing and installation project of all spherical tanks for this project, with a contract value exceeding 100 million.
The Quanzhou Guoheng spherical tank project involves a total of 15 spherical tanks, including the assembly, welding, non-destructive testing, overall heat treatment, pressure testing, and the fabrication and installation of ladders and platforms, as well as anti-corrosion work for 13 4000m³ spherical tanks and 2 400m³ spherical tanks. This project is managed by Zheng Wei, project manager of the Jingmen Hongtu Engineering Division. At the groundbreaking ceremony, he stated: "The Guoheng project is the first engineering project that Hongtu Company has cooperated on with a Taiwanese-funded enterprise. The client has more standardized, refined, and model-based management of safety, quality, and construction. Therefore, the project site management personnel must conduct strict management in terms of safety, quality, progress, and coordination. First, strictly follow the safety management regulations of Guoheng Company, actively participate in safety training, and fully cooperate with the client and supervisor in safety inspections of the construction site; second, always adhere to the quality policy and objectives set by the client, operate strictly according to the process regulations, actively cooperate with the client and supervisor in quality inspections, and formulate and strictly implement relevant welding processes; in terms of project progress, all project teams strictly follow the schedule targets, plan ahead, and formulate detailed project schedules to ensure that the entire project progresses quickly and efficiently, achieving the client's schedule objectives."
