On October 25th, a photo from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport in the company's work WeChat group brought tears to everyone's eyes. At the airport, 24 colleagues embarking on an African engineering project were pictured together, wearing matching white protective suits. While their expressions are hidden behind masks and goggles, their upright and uniform posture reveals their determination and bravery. They are the most beautiful retrograde warriors of Hongtu!
This African engineering project includes two 6000-square-meter spherical tanks and an accompanying station project. The original plan for the installation personnel's entry was completely disrupted by the hateful COVID-19 pandemic!
Under the pandemic, the global situation was tense, international airports were sealed off, and normal personnel movement was hindered. However, the pandemic situation varied across countries. While we were under lockdown and work stoppage, some countries continued to operate; and when the domestic epidemic gradually eased and work resumed, the overseas epidemic became increasingly severe and led to lockdowns. Many international engineering projects were repeatedly delayed. It wasn't until September 1st, when the lockdown in that country was lifted, that the construction plan, delayed by the pandemic, could be restarted. This was significantly behind the original schedule. For ordinary people, a couple of months is just dozens of ordinary sunrises and sunsets, but for the owner, every day is a significant loss. As a partner, we also experienced this ordeal! Soothing the client, adjusting the plan repeatedly, and the losses from increased costs, along with the careful and difficult arrangements for resuming work and travel under the overseas epidemic, all tested Hongtu's leadership and project teams.
Although the smoke of the domestic epidemic is gradually dissipating, the world is still shrouded in the shadow of the pandemic, and it is extremely difficult to resume work on overseas projects. Especially regarding personnel, China is currently one of the safest places in the world. At this time, no one wants to leave China, fly thousands of miles, and transit through several airports to a distant country that has just lifted its lockdown, but the deadline cannot be delayed. This requires a company to make careful arrangements after fully assessing the situation and making all necessary preparations. Every step, from visas and vaccines to construction training and safety education, must be carried out according to regulations. After completing a series of preparations, the first batch of 24 brave warriors assembled in early October. To complete the project as soon as possible and minimize losses for both the owner and the company, the 24 warriors chose to fly against the trend, becoming Hongtu's most beautiful retrograde warriors.
Originally, everyone had booked tickets from Chengdu Shuangliu Airport for October 16th. However, less than a week before the flight, everyone suddenly received an urgent notice: because returning passengers who had previously entered China via ET from Chengdu were found to have COVID-19 infections, according to China's civil aviation "five-ones" policy, all ET flights departing from Chengdu would be suspended for four weeks starting from October 16th! With no other choice, everyone spent a high price to change their tickets to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport. The twists and turns of the journey and the gloomy pandemic did not dampen the enthusiasm and courage of the Hongtu spherical tank team.
On October 23rd, Project Manager Liu Zhiyong led everyone to gather near Guangzhou Airport and contacted a nucleic acid testing institution on the morning of the 24th to complete the nucleic acid test within 72 hours before takeoff. They successfully obtained a bilingual Chinese-English nucleic acid test certificate on the afternoon of the same day, with all results being negative! Everyone's anxiety finally subsided. Before boarding, everyone was in high spirits and took this precious photo of their retrograde expedition at the airport. We have reason to believe that under the guidance of a comprehensive epidemic prevention plan and in a completely closed construction environment, with the efficient execution of the Hongtu team, they will bring back news of peace and victory from distant Africa!

On April 28, 2025, a ceremony celebrating the 100th anniversary of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and awarding national model workers and advanced workers was held in Beijing. Comrade Li Zhongjiang from Jingmen Hongtu Company under CIMC Enric, as an outstanding representative of industry skills, stood on the podium of this supreme honor and was awarded the honorary title of National Model Worker by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council of the People's Republic of China. This is not only a brilliant medal in Li Zhongjiang's personal career, but also the supreme glory in the development history of Jingmen Hongtu!
To commemorate the 106th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement, on April 26, the Youth League Committee of CIMC Enric's Jingmen Hongtu Company organized a youth exchange activity for young employees themed "General's Spirit Illuminates the Original Aspiration, Youth Chasing Dreams in the Right Time".
