In this severe situation, Hongtu Company actively responded to the national call, abided by national epidemic prevention regulations, and proactively abandoned most on-site bidding, actively shifting to online bidding.
One example is a project with PetroChina. This project required bidding by February 28th. To ensure that the company's cryogenic storage tanks could successfully enter PetroChina, Zhang Xingjuan, the engineering key account manager, organized online exchanges with relevant personnel multiple times. However, Hubei was still under traffic control at that time, making it difficult to travel. Relevant materials such as the CA digital lock and the payment of the deposit for the project were all in the company's office building. The lack of these hardware devices made bidding extremely difficult.
The epidemic will pass, and difficulties will be overcome. In the face of problems, Hongtu people became "reverse-goers" in this epidemic. To solve the problem of personnel travel, Tu Xiaohong, the company's vice general manager, and Fan Cheng, the vice general manager of the operation management center, actively communicated and coordinated with the government's epidemic prevention department. On February 26th, under the guidance of the municipal government personnel, they arranged for personnel to go to the company to collect the bidding materials and successfully handed over the bidding CA lock to sales manager Zhao Hongzhi. Subsequently, the company completed the bid submission and online bidding.
In March, when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, good news came from the land of Jingchu. News of the resumption of work by various enterprises in Hubei came frequently, and good news about Hongtu Company's order production came one after another. On March 14th, the good news of the company's successful bidding for the project came. It was not only a multi-million dollar project, but also a major breakthrough for the company in PetroChina's cryogenic storage tank projects. On March 18th, the company also participated in the bidding for PetroChina's non-standard storage tanks, and received the good news of winning the bid the next day. This is a major leap for the company's non-standard products into the PetroChina system.
The epidemic will not hinder Hongtu's development goals. On the contrary, we will go against the trend, forge ahead bravely, and create our own Hongtu blue sky!
