In the scorching summer of July, the sun blazed like fire. Despite the intense heat, Hongtu Company was bustling with activity. Workers in the workshop were busy with production, and the shipping yard was a scene of constant activity. We are accustomed to seeing brand new tank trucks and loads of spherical shells continuously leaving the factory to be delivered to domestic and international customers or transported to various construction sites. But have you ever seen this? Hongtu has moved its production site outside the factory.
At a large shipyard in a port in Zhejiang, beside the green hills and blue sea, a large number of "Hongtu-made" large LPG storage tanks are undergoing intensive welding construction. This batch of 19 large storage tanks is an order from Central America, and it is also the first time that Hongtu Company has exported a large batch of large LPG storage tanks to the Americas.
These manufactured storage tanks have a capacity of 90,000 gallons and a length of 41 meters. Imagine trying to transport these 19 behemoths from the company to the seaport; the transportation cost and difficulty are extraordinary.
To reduce transportation difficulties and costs, the company innovated its production methods, deciding to lease space at a large shipyard and produce the tanks near the seaport. Upon completion, they can be directly loaded onto ships and shipped overseas. To ensure product quality, the core technical and management personnel of this off-site production project team were drawn from the company's backbone members, and the production process followed the same layout as the company's workshop. To celebrate this innovative production model, a short opening ceremony was held at the start of the project at the end of April.
As of mid-July, the overall production progress has exceeded 40%, and the first batch of 8 tanks is expected to be shipped and delivered to Central American customers in September.
With the diversification of Hongtu Company's products and the increasing growth of its export business, Hongtu Company will continue to innovate in its production and management models in the future to reduce costs, improve product quality, and enhance market competitiveness.

On April 28, 2025, a ceremony celebrating the 100th anniversary of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and awarding national model workers and advanced workers was held in Beijing. Comrade Li Zhongjiang from Jingmen Hongtu Company under CIMC Enric, as an outstanding representative of industry skills, stood on the podium of this supreme honor and was awarded the honorary title of National Model Worker by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council of the People's Republic of China.
