Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China announced the fourth batch of green manufacturing list, and CIMC Enric was selected as a "Green Factory" and successfully passed the public announcement period. CIMC Enric is the only enterprise in Jingmen City, Hubei Province to be selected, signifying its successful entry into the national "Green Factory" list.
"Green Factory" refers to a factory that has achieved intensive land use, harmless raw materials, clean production, resource utilization of waste, and low-carbon energy.

As the leading manufacturer of liquefied gas storage and transportation equipment in the domestic market, CIMC Enric has been leading the industry's green development in technological innovation, energy conservation and environmental protection, and resource recycling in recent years. This is mainly due to the company's leadership's keen foresight in the industry. In 2017, the company's general manager, Zheng Zhijun, required the company to transform from "traditional manufacturing" to "green intelligent manufacturing", and incorporated "green intelligent manufacturing" into the company's three-year strategic plan. He repeatedly emphasized that the company should start from the management ideas of low-carbon environmental protection and energy saving and consumption reduction, so as to further improve various aspects such as the working environment, product quality and management methods. In the past three years, the company has increased its capital investment in "green intelligent manufacturing" technological transformation, and all the company's technological transformation investment and technological research and development are closely linked to national green environmental protection standards. Projects such as surface treatment heat source transformation, acid washing waste gas treatment, wastewater treatment, air compressor energy saving transformation, spray painting workshop transformation and VOCs treatment have been successively implemented, and the energy consumption and pollutant emission indicators are among the best in the industry.

In early 2018, the company launched the "Green Platform Construction of Liquefied Gas Storage and Transportation Equipment Based on Reduced Design" project. The main construction contents include the green platform and information construction of liquefied gas storage and transportation equipment based on reduction, the construction of key green manufacturing processes and demonstration lines of liquefied gas, the key green manufacturing process innovation and green transformation of liquefied gas storage and transportation equipment, and the innovative and integrated application of green equipment and auxiliary materials. The company hopes to build a green design platform for liquefied gas storage and transportation equipment based on reduced design through the implementation of this project, and through key process breakthroughs, green equipment, and the application of green raw materials, implement green transformation, establish a demonstration line, create a new model of integrated green design and manufacturing of liquefied gas storage and transportation equipment, and actively promote the formulation and implementation of green manufacturing system standards for liquefied gas storage and transportation equipment, including evaluation indicators such as energy, resources, environment, and product attributes, and promote the green upgrading of the entire industry through promotion within the industry.

The project is led by CIMC Enric, and a "Green Platform Construction of Liquefied Gas Storage and Transportation Equipment Based on Reduced Design" consortium is formed through industry-university-research cooperation with Fuzhou University, Zhejiang University Shandong Institute of Industrial Technology, and the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. For more than a year, the project team of the consortium has given full play to the advantages of various resources, and in accordance with the project content and specific task division, driven by demand, focusing on industry technology, production mode, standard application and innovation, and carried out efficient work, achieving remarkable results. By August 2019, CIMC Enric's "Green Factory" has passed the acceptance of the MIIT and become a national-level "Green Factory". The enterprise's group standard "Technical Specification for Green Design Product Evaluation Low Alloy Steel Liquefied Gas Tank Truck" passed the review of the Standards Committee of Beijing Ecological Design and Green Manufacturing Promotion Association on June 22, 2019, and was released on the National Group Standard Information Platform on August 2, 2019. This group standard will become one of the key links in the national green manufacturing integration project. At the same time, the internal green manufacturing information platform of the enterprise has been put into full operation.

With the establishment of CIMC Enric's "Green Factory" and the promotion of "Green Standards", the company has not only obtained policy support such as transformation and upgrading funds for MIIT green manufacturing system integration projects, special construction funds, and green credit, but also become a government-recommended priority supplier for energy equipment procurement. At the same time, it promotes the integration of green reduced design and manufacturing, and improves the green level of the manufacturing process.

"Green intelligent manufacturing" carries the dream and hope of harmonious coexistence between industrial civilization and ecological civilization, and the harmonious coexistence between man and nature. After CIMC Enric became a green factory with a leading and exemplary role in China's liquefied gas storage and transportation equipment industry, the next step (i.e., entering the third phase of the project) will be to use green technology introduction and innovation as a means, starting from raw material consumption, energy consumption in the manufacturing process, and environmental impact assessment, to conduct an analysis of the current situation and green potential of the industry, combined with reduced technology and green key processes, to build a green technology evaluation standard for the liquefied gas storage and transportation equipment industry, thereby promoting the industry to take a green development path of high efficiency, cleanliness, low carbon, and circulation.
