On January 10th, CIMC Enric Holdings Limited, along with its member company Jingmen Hongtu Special Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd., mass delivered 29 LNG retrofitted vessels to its client, Zhuhai Port Shipping Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Zhuhai Port Group. It is reported that this delivery is the largest single batch of oil-to-gas vessel conversions nationwide. The delivery ceremony was held in the beautiful Yunfu Port, Guangdong Province, and received high attention from local governments and relevant mainstream media. It also attracted the presence of industry experts and well-known enterprises in the industry. Leaders from Zhuhai Port Shipping Co., Ltd., CIMC Enric Holdings Limited, CIMC Bluewater Technology Development (Guangdong) Co., Ltd., Weichai Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd., and other companies attended the meeting to jointly witness this important moment.

The 29 vessels delivered in this batch are all standard general cargo ships operating on the Xijiang and Beijiang routes. The retrofitted marine LNG fuel supply systems were developed, designed, and produced by Jingmen Hongtu Company, a member enterprise of CIMC Enric. With its strong R&D and design capabilities, Hongtu's developed LNG power systems and related equipment technology are at a leading level nationwide, helping customers achieve energy saving and emission reduction goals while also saving fuel costs, further enhancing the economic efficiency of vessel operations and improving their market competitiveness. After completing this batch delivery, Jingmen Hongtu will complete the retrofitting of 15 more marine LNG fuel supply systems in early 2023, demonstrating the application of clean energy in water transport, and leading the healthy development of inland river shipping with green and low-carbon principles.

Promoting LNG power retrofitting for inland vessels is an important measure to implement the concept of ecological civilization construction and the national 'dual carbon' strategic goals. On April 28, 2025, a ceremony celebrating the 100th anniversary of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and awarding national model workers and advanced workers was held in Beijing. Comrade Li Zhongjiang from Jingmen Hongtu Company under CIMC Enric, as an outstanding representative of industry skills, stood on the podium of this supreme honor and was awarded the honorary title of National Model Worker by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council of the People's Republic of China.
