It is reported that the recipient of this batch of products is a large logistics provider in Jiangsu, marking the first large-scale delivery of vinyl chloride chemical semi-trailers in China.
Vinyl chloride is an important raw material for the plastics industry, mainly used in the production of polyvinyl chloride resin (i.e., PVC, the world's largest-volume general-purpose plastic); it can also be copolymerized with vinyl acetate, butadiene, acrylonitrile, acrylates, vinylidene chloride, etc., to produce adhesives, coatings, food packaging materials, building materials, etc.; its low boiling point characteristic allows it to be used as a refrigerant; it can also be used as an extractant for dyes and fragrances.

On April 28, 2025, a ceremony celebrating the 100th anniversary of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and awarding national model workers and advanced workers was held in Beijing.
