In recent years, with the continuous promotion and application of LNG green clean energy, the development of marine clean energy equipment has also accelerated with the transformation process of the shipbuilding industry. Currently, carbon emission policies in various countries are constantly being adjusted and are gradually becoming stricter. Under the urgent demand for environmental protection and energy saving, LNG, as a clean and efficient energy source, is becoming a hot topic in the global energy market. CIMC Jingmen Hongtu relies on over 40 years of manufacturing advantages, technical research and development in the field of cryogenic storage and transportation equipment, market accumulation, and the introduction of high-end talents in the cryogenic industry, leveraging the CIMC technology sharing platform, to extend its business chain to the ship tank field. Through nearly a decade of development, it has accumulated experience in LNG ship tank design and construction, with business involving emerging fields such as LNG carriers, bunkering barges, LNG shore-based fueling stations, and intelligent marine fuel control and security systems for LNG-powered ships.
Recently (from Q4 2021 to present), Jingmen Hongtu Company, an enterprise under CIMC Enric, signed a general contracting project for LNG-powered ship power systems in the Pearl River-Xijiang River basin and the Yangtze River basin. The project involves the general contracting of LNG power systems for over 120 vessels, with more than 100 vessels planned for delivery by the end of 2022. The successful signing of this project is also a major breakthrough for Jingmen Hongtu in the application of marine LNG.

China is a major maritime transport nation with a large number of vessels, totaling 230,000 transport ships. To control water pollution, the country has listed the "oil-to-gas" conversion of ships as a key promotion project in relevant industries. In the new standards of "Made in China 2025" released by the state on March 1, 2014, eleven chapters of requirements were formulated, including general rules, classification and inspection, structure, LNG devices and systems, and electrical equipment. It will also improve the ship tank quality and safety management system, strengthen quality control and safety risk management during product manufacturing and installation, form replicable and scalable experiences, and achieve demonstration applications in representative regions such as the Yangtze River, Xijiang River, Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, and Minjiang River, thereby fulfilling its corporate responsibility for the nation's "Green waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" development philosophy!

On April 28, 2025, a ceremony celebrating the 100th anniversary of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and awarding national model workers and advanced workers was held in Beijing. Comrade Li Zhongjiang from Jingmen Hongtu Company under CIMC Enric, as an outstanding representative of industry skills, stood on the podium of this supreme honor and was awarded the honorary title of National Model Worker by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council of the People's Republic of China.
