2022 marks the 40th anniversary of CIMC's production. To vigorously promote the spirit of model workers and craftsmen, inspire employees' enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity, and give full play to the exemplary role of model workers, CIMC Group launched its first model worker selection activity. In response to the Group's call, the CIMC Energy Chemical sector formulated and issued the management measures for model workers in the energy chemical sector, convened an online launch meeting with more than 10 member enterprises in the sector, and after layers of selection, a total of 12 employees were finally selected as the first model workers in the energy chemical sector. Among them, four from Jingmen Hongtu were selected: Li Zhongjiang, Wu Chengchao, Zhang Aihua, and Zhou Sen.

After selection and recommendation by the sector, preliminary review by the Group's Human Resources Department, review by the Group's Honorary Commendation Leading Group, and soliciting opinions from the Group's Executive Committee, 53 CIMC Group model workers were finally selected. Among them, 7 were from the energy chemical sector, and 2 from Jingmen Hongtu: Li Zhongjiang and Wu Chengchao.

There is a spirit that seems ordinary and insignificant, yet it can achieve extraordinary achievements. There is a spirit that seems full of passion, yet it represents the most down-to-earth and pragmatic spirit. Let us together see, learn from, and pay tribute to model workers!

Li Zhongjiang, Jingmen Hongtu Parts Workshop, Clamping and Welding Team 1, Clamping and Welding Team Leader

In his 30 years of employment, he has grown from a fitter to a master technician, establishing the "Li Zhongjiang Master Studio," writing more than 10 teaching materials, training more than 526 people, and mentoring 10 senior technicians and 6 technicians. He led his team members to overcome difficulties and innovate, creating economic benefits of 10.52 million yuan for the company in the past five years. In 2019, he was named CIMC Group's "Creative Star." He has also received numerous honors, including "11th National Technical Expert," "Hubei Province Chief Technician," "Hubei Province Skills Master," and "Hubei Province Model Worker," and enjoys special allowances from the State Council.

Wu Chengchao, Jingmen Hongtu Chemical Container Workshop, Chemical Team 1, Team Leader

In more than ten years of employment, he has grown from an apprentice to a company's production backbone, obtaining 23 material welding certificates. He has been awarded the "Jingmen City May 1 Labor Medal" and "Jingmen City Model Worker." Adhering to the "craftsman spirit," with his persistence and pursuit of welding, he continuously strengthens his professional knowledge learning at work. Through independent innovation, he changed the traditional all-manual welding method, reducing material consumption, improving work efficiency, and lowering the company's production costs. In August 2021, during the 23-day lockdown of Jingmen due to the COVID-19 epidemic, he volunteered to stay in the workshop and led his team members to achieve remarkable results for the company.

Zhang Aihua, Jingmen Hongtu Chemical Container Workshop, Middle Ring Team 1, Team Leader

In more than 20 years of employment, she has always focused on her work, been proactive, diligent in learning, and worked hard to study. After years of experience, she has grown into a skilled and experienced senior technician. She has won numerous honors, including "National Technical Expert," "Hubei Province Skills Master," "Jingchu Craftsman," and "First Jingmen Talent," and enjoys special allowances from the Hubei Provincial Government. Over the years, Zhang Aihua has never stopped moving forward. In addition to continuously improving her own professional skills, she also has a strong sense of teamwork. To improve the company's overall welding skills, she spearheaded the establishment of the Hubei Provincial Skills Master Studio, striving to cultivate more welding talents for the company.

Zhou Sen, Technical Management Center, Tank Capacity R&D Department, Deputy General Manager Assistant and Manager of Tank Capacity R&D Department

In nearly 20 years of employment, he overcame the difficulties of his non-matching major, starting from scratch and working diligently. From knowing nothing about the pressure vessel industry to independently undertaking the design of various company products, he grew from a grassroots product designer to a core technical management personnel of the company. At the same time, he used his work and spare time to study and master standards, regulations, and various basic industry knowledge, focusing on product design and working diligently. Through his continuous innovation and in-depth design and production experience of liquefied gas transport vehicles, he has written and published many professional technical articles, obtained more than 10 invention authorizations, published and included 5 scientific and technological papers, and participated in several provincial scientific and technological research and development projects, winning three "Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Progress Third Prizes" and one "Jingmen City Science and Technology Progress Second Prize".
