Tracing Roots and Forging Souls: Understanding the Hong'an Spirit and Promoting High-Quality Enterprise Development—2021 Jingmen Hongtu Party Committee Party History Learning and Education Activities

To promote the revolutionary spirit and inherit the red gene, on July 17th, the CIMC Jingmen Hongtu Company Party Committee, led by Comrade Zheng Zhijun, Secretary of the company's General Party Branch, went to the Hong'an Red Education Base to carry out revolutionary tradition education, receive the baptism of red traditional education, and revisit the arduous revolutionary years and journeys of the revolutionary predecessors.
"Hometown of Generals, Legendary Hong'an". Hong'an is a famous old revolutionary base area, the birthplace of the "Huangma Uprising", and the cradle of the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Revolutionary Base. 140,000 heroic sons and daughters shed their blood on the battlefield, and 223 founding generals' stars shone brightly, making it the first county in New China to be named and honored with the character "Red". Bearing in mind the entrustment and forging ahead, we must carry out Party history learning education well, make Party history a compulsory course, strengthen confidence, draw wisdom, and gather strength from it, and achieve greater results in the new journey.
This three-day activity, meticulously coordinated by the Hongtu Party Committee, adopted a combination of "audio-visual teaching + classroom teaching + on-site teaching" to carry out a Party history learning education activity themed "Tracing Roots and Forging Souls, Comprehending the Hong'an Spirit, and Assisting High-Quality Development of Enterprises".
On the evening of the 17th, everyone jointly watched the red revolutionary film and television dramas "Night Raid" and "Golden Sands", and held the CIMC Jingmen Hongtu Company Party Committee's "Two Excellences and One Pioneer" commendation meeting. At the meeting, 2 advanced Party branches, led by the "Management Center Party Branch", 17 excellent Communist Party members, led by Wu Chengchao and Liu Purong, and 2 excellent Party affairs workers, led by Tu Xiaohong, were commended. It is hoped that the commended advanced units and individuals will carry forward their achievements, cherish their honors, redouble their efforts, and create new achievements.
On the morning of the 18th, they visited Changsheng Street, which originated during the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom and has been passed down to this day, watched videos of "Revolutionary History of Dabie Mountains" and "Stories of Hong'an Generals", and visited the Li Xiannian Former Residence Memorial Park, feeling the red gene born from the vigorous revolution of those years.
On the morning of the 19th, the Hongtu Company Party Committee delegation bowed three times to the martyrs in front of the towering Monument to the Martyrs of the Huangma Uprising and the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Soviet Area Revolutionary Base, raised their right hands, and re-pledged their Party oath, further strengthening everyone's convictions and firming their beliefs.
Subsequently, they visited Dong Biwu's former residence, deeply feeling the revolutionary spirit of the older generation of revolutionaries who were indomitable, struggled hard, and dared to be pioneers in adversity. The Hong'an spirit is a spiritual source for the majority of Party members and cadres to strengthen their ideals and beliefs, overcome various difficulties, and continuously grow and strengthen enterprises under new historical conditions, possessing strong vitality. Through this activity, everyone gained "baptism, moving, shock, and comprehension," and had a more personal understanding and experience of the profound connotations of the Hong'an spirit.
Everyone expressed that they would bring the Hong'an spirit back, take this as a new starting point, and under the guidance of the Hong'an spirit, firmly carry forward the revolutionary predecessors' spirit of overcoming difficulties and daring to innovate, stay true to their original aspiration, keep their mission in mind, and devote themselves to work with greater enthusiasm and higher morale.

On April 28, 2025, a ceremony celebrating the 100th anniversary of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and awarding national model workers and advanced workers was held in Beijing. Comrade Li Zhongjiang from Jingmen Hongtu Company under CIMC Enric, as an outstanding representative of industry skills, stood on the podium of this supreme honor and was awarded the honorary title of National Model Worker by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council of the People's Republic of China. This is not only a brilliant medal in Li Zhongjiang's personal career, but also the supreme glory in the development history of Jingmen Hongtu!
To commemorate the 106th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement, on April 26, the Youth League Committee of CIMC Enric's Jingmen Hongtu Company organized a youth exchange activity for young employees themed "General's Spirit Illuminates the Original Aspiration, Youth Chasing Dreams in the Right Time".
