CIMC Enric Ghana LPG spherical tank field EPC project's first spherical tank successfully topped out!

On November 25, 2020, the first spherical tank of CIMC Enric's EPC project at a tank farm in an industrial zone in Ghana, West Africa, was successfully topped off! This project is CIMC Enric's sixth petrochemical engineering EPC project in the West African market, and it is of great significance to the company's development and expansion of international EPC projects. The contract for this project was signed in 2019, and it was originally planned to start on-site at the beginning of 2020. However, due to the global pandemic of COVID-19, the project was delayed. With the high attention and strong support from the company's leadership, we overcame many challenges, including airline disruptions, high airfare, and pre-departure nucleic acid testing, and the first batch of project team members finally arrived in Ghana smoothly on October 25, 2020. After arriving, the project team quickly started work. With the support of the owner, they ensured logistical support, epidemic prevention and control, and addressed on-site issues. Through the joint efforts of all members of the project team, despite challenges such as epidemic prevention risks, high temperatures during the dry season, slow civil construction, and uneven site conditions, they completed the erection of the base plate, support column welding, and tank installation. This laid a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the entire EPC project!
The 24 members of the spherical tank project team overcame many practical and psychological challenges under the backdrop of the epidemic, going to a foreign country, becoming "reverse travelers" in the industry. We inherit the "craftsman spirit" of CIMC Enric people, shoulder heavy responsibilities, pursue excellence, and provide customers with the best products and services while ensuring construction safety and epidemic prevention. The project team holds a safety morning meeting every week to disseminate safety risks and precautions for construction and epidemic prevention. Daily body temperature checks are recorded, and masks are worn during work. While doing the project, we also showed the positive, united, and efficient spirit of CIMC Enric people to the local community in Ghana. The owner also attaches great importance to the project and provides maximum assistance in all aspects.
On November 5, the owner's CEO and COO visited and guided the project site. The CEO highly praised CIMC Enric's outstanding performance in the Warri project in Nigeria and hoped that this project would be even better. Project Manager Liu Zhiyong and all staff expressed their determination to complete the project on schedule, with high quality, and deliver it as soon as possible. The owner's COO inquired about the challenges faced by the project team during their stay and provided assistance in various aspects of the site and logistics, facilitating the smooth progress of the project. In the month since the project team arrived, they have received high praise and appreciation from the owner and the local community. The spherical tank, over 26 meters high, has quickly become a landmark building in the surrounding area, and everyone who sees it marvels at the efficiency and style of the project team, giving a thumbs-up and calling us magicians. We will continue to uphold the pioneering spirit of CIMC Enric people, continue to carry out subsequent on-site construction, deliver qualified products to customers, and maximize customer benefits!

On April 30, Li Zhongjiang, an employee of Jingmen Hongtu Company under CIMC Anrui, who was awarded the title of "National Labor Model", returned home in glory. On April 28, 2025, a ceremony celebrating the 100th anniversary of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and awarding national model workers and advanced workers was held in Beijing. Comrade Li Zhongjiang from Jingmen Hongtu Company under CIMC Enric, as an outstanding representative of industry skills, stood on the podium of this supreme honor and was awarded the honorary title of National Model Worker by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council of the People's Republic of China. This is not only a brilliant medal in Li Zhongjiang's personal career, but also the supreme glory in the development history of Jingmen Hongtu!
To commemorate the 106th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement, on April 26, the Youth League Committee of CIMC Enric's Jingmen Hongtu Company organized a youth exchange activity for young employees themed "General's Spirit Illuminates the Original Aspiration, Youth Chasing Dreams in the Right Time". Through the combination of red education and team building interaction, it guided young employees to commemorate revolutionary martyrs, build consensus, and inspire innovation and vitality, resonating with the company's development.
