Currently, the wave of intelligent manufacturing is surging, and digital technologies such as big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and 5G are accelerating their integration with traditional manufacturing industries. The rise of a brand, in addition to inheriting and continuing its historical national sentiment, requires "cutting-edge" technology that leads the times. As autonomous driving and intelligent connected vehicles gradually approach our lives, the intelligent transformation of hazardous chemical transportation tank trucks will inevitably integrate into the "wave of technological change in the great era". CIMC Hongtu Company, as an influential domestic manufacturer of medium-pressure tank trucks, is committed to promoting the technological upgrade of the hazardous chemical medium-pressure transportation tank truck manufacturing industry. In early 2019, General Manager Zheng Zhijun requested the R&D department to step out of their "comfort zone" for technological transformation, courageously innovate, and achieve new breakthroughs in the "intelligent manufacturing" of medium-pressure tank trucks, showcasing "Hongtu medium-pressure tank truck's leading technological prowess". Transitioning from traditional "manufacturing" to "intelligent manufacturing" and adding "intelligent" functions to hazardous chemical semi-trailers, for the traditional machinery manufacturing industry, the application of these intelligent new technologies is not as "easy" as entertainment and communication devices like mobile phones or game consoles. Whether intelligent technology can be integrated with highly complex traditional mechanical manufacturing to make our tank truck products safer, more efficient, and more human-friendly is key to the success of intelligent applications. This is both an inevitable trend and the only path for product upgrading and iteration.
Pleased to announce that, through the unremitting efforts of its technical personnel, CIMC Hongtu Company has achieved significant breakthroughs in the "intelligent" application of its tank truck products. Currently, the "Hongtu Brand" intelligent tank trucks equipped with eleven intelligent technologies have successfully rolled off the production line and entered the market, with the first batch of 2 "Hongtu Brand" intelligent tank truck products soon to be delivered to users. On August 15th and August 18th, General Manager Zheng Zhijun, who has been highly concerned with and primarily responsible for the company's tank truck "intelligentization" project, twice led personnel from technology, quality inspection, and production manufacturing departments to conduct a joint final inspection of the first batch of 2 intelligent hazardous chemical transport semi-trailer tank truck products that have already rolled off the line and are about to be delivered to users, strictly controlling quality.
The first batch of intelligent tank truck products launched this time are equipped with eleven intelligent technologies: tire pressure monitoring, axle end odometer, semi-trailer safety monitoring terminal, tank truck emergency shut-off valve intelligent cut-off system, air tank automatic drainage system, left and right blind spot radar system, intelligent safety monitoring system, automatic inflation system, trailer remote control, anti-theft device, and intelligent reversing brake system. These technological upgrades not only make "Hongtu Brand" tank trucks more intelligent but also bring lighter, high-performance, and highly safe artisan-quality products to the industry, possessing strong scalability and diverse adaptability, while also providing customers with a lighter, better-performing, and safer artisan-quality product experience. This means that CIMC Hongtu medium-pressure hazardous chemical tank trucks have opened a new chapter in the intelligent era, and will undoubtedly lead the overall upgrading and iteration of products in the domestic medium-pressure tank truck industry, ushering in a new "intelligent" tank truck era with higher technology and greater safety.

On April 28, 2025, a ceremony celebrating the 100th anniversary of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and awarding national model workers and advanced workers was held in Beijing. Comrade Li Zhongjiang from Jingmen Hongtu Company under CIMC Enric, as an outstanding representative of industry skills, stood on the podium of this supreme honor and was awarded the honorary title of National Model Worker by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council of the People's Republic of China.
