Two LPG semi-trailers from Hongtu Company passed the technical review of the first batch of compliant semi-trailer models for pressure tank trucks for road transport, conducted by the Ministry of Transport.

2020 was a turbulent year globally, and the semi-trailer industry was no exception. The implementation of the disc brake + air suspension policy (mandatory upgrade of semi-trailers to disc brakes + air suspension) was not yet fully complete when new operational safety standards were introduced.
According to policy requirements at the beginning of the year, starting May 1st, all trailer products were included in the Ministry of Transport's "Road Transport Vehicle Compliant Model Announcement" access management.
What does this mean? Simply put, for vehicles that meet the Ministry of Transport's road transport standards, each batch of vehicles must undergo safety compliance testing and declaration, and this testing fee is quite high, reaching hundreds of thousands of yuan. However, if you do not conduct this test, you cannot obtain an operating license. Even if the purchased vehicle is registered, it cannot be used for transportation; it can only be admired at home. 
Of course, this also shows that the country attaches greater importance to road safety in the highway transportation industry.
It is understood that due to the impact of the epidemic, few companies have completed the safety compliance testing of semi-trailers. Therefore, many companies and testing institutions have jointly proposed to the Ministry of Transport that this test be postponed. However, as of now, the Ministry of Transport has not responded to this suggestion.

At the same time, it actively coordinated sample vehicles and organized the preparation of application materials. In March and April, despite the impact of the epidemic, efforts were made to organize and coordinate testing work.
With the collaboration of various departments within the company, the application and testing work for the HT9409GYQA7 (61.9 propane) and HT9409GYQB5 (59.5 propylene) models were completed at the end of April. On May 26th, they passed the expert review and are expected to be published in the Ministry of Transport's 21st batch announcement in late June. These are the first two pressure tank semi-trailer models in the country to pass.
Due to the complex requirements, high difficulty of testing, strict review standards, extremely low one-time pass rate, and long application cycle of semi-trailer operational safety compliance, many semi-trailer companies are still watching. The successful application of these two pressure tank trucks by Hongtu Company has accumulated a lot of experience for the company's other models in the future, and has also created favorable conditions for the compliant operation of customers who purchase Hongtu products, allowing customers to purchase with confidence and boldness.
