From January 1, 2020, the third phase of GB7258 will be implemented. The new regulations clearly stipulate that "the rear axle of dangerous goods transport trucks with a total mass of 12,000 kg or more, all dangerous goods transport semi-trailers, and three-axle flatbed and caged semi-trailers should be equipped with air suspension." This regulation applies to newly produced vehicles from January 1, 2020.

The advantages of air suspension are: reducing the impact of bumps on goods, protecting cargo safety; reducing tire wear, and lowering fuel consumption, etc. With the development of technology, air suspension has become an indispensable standard configuration for high-end heavy trucks and special vehicles.
Small amplitude of bumps: The air spring adjustment ensures a constant vehicle height and reduces the liquid sloshing caused by bumps, reducing the impact on the tank and protecting cargo safety, and improving the service life of the tank truck.
High economic efficiency: Using air suspension can effectively reduce tire wear and fuel consumption. According to statistics, under the same road conditions and load, fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is reduced by more than 1.2 liters.
Enhanced protection of tires and other accessories: The air suspension system can more effectively absorb vibrations from uneven roads, reducing vehicle twisting and impact during driving, thus providing better protection for axle components, tires, chassis, and body.
Safety: Air suspension transport is smoother. During operation, the vehicle's center of gravity remains almost unchanged, with good axial and radial stability, making driving safer and more reliable. The squatting braking system effectively avoids the forward impact of the vehicle during emergency braking.
The use of air suspension in dangerous goods transport vehicles truly reflects a high level of safety awareness.
