Recently, the Hubei Provincial Innovation Product Application Demonstration Liaison Conference Office announced the 2024 Hubei Provincial Innovation Product Application Demonstration Recommendation Catalog. CIMC Enric's Jingmen Hongtu Company's "New Type Low-Temperature Steel Marine Intelligent Fuel Storage and Supply System" was successfully selected, injecting new impetus into the development of Hubei Province's high-end equipment manufacturing industry.
This solicitation was carried out in accordance with the Implementation Plan for Innovation Product Application Demonstration in Hubei Province, jointly issued by the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and nine other departments. The solicitation covered sixteen major categories, including optoelectronic information, new energy and intelligent connected vehicles, life health, and high-end equipment. It aims to continuously promote innovation product application demonstration work, promote enterprise technological innovation, and drive high-quality development of the manufacturing industry. Jingmen Hongtu Company's "New Type Low-Temperature Steel Marine Intelligent Fuel Storage and Supply System" product research and development includes green power ship intelligent gas supply module integration technology, intelligent fuel control technology, and the application of new low-temperature steel tank materials. It covers three of the four key areas of Hubei Province's high-end equipment industry: intelligent manufacturing equipment, green intelligent ships, and high-end energy equipment.
Currently, the use of natural gas fuel technology in ships is an important part of the green and low-carbon transformation of energy in the transportation sector of Hubei Province. However, inland waterway vessels have a compact structure, making fuel system layout difficult. The high initial investment in LNG green ship power systems has also hindered their promotion and application. To address these issues, Jingmen Hongtu Company's innovative product has achieved the practical application of new low-temperature steel materials and a modular solution for LNG fuel tanks, effectively reducing product manufacturing costs and improving customer economic benefits. This product not only contributes to energy saving and emission reduction in the shipping industry and the development of a low-carbon economy, but also provides a green power guarantee for the safe operation of ships.
Currently, this innovative system has been widely used on ships in domestic offshore waters and inland waterways such as the Yangtze River, Xi Jiang River, Pearl River, and Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, making a positive contribution to the development and upgrading of Hubei Province's intelligent manufacturing, green intelligent ships, and new energy industries.
