Across the ocean, Hongtu Company's non-standard chemical equipment has been exported for the first time - 16 heat exchangers and 3 containers from Jingmen Hongtu Company, a subsidiary of CIMC Anrui, were shipped to Zambia, Africa.

Under the scorching summer sun, a bustling scene unfolds at the shipping yard of Jingmen Hongtu Company, a subsidiary of CIMC Enric. Sixteen heat exchangers and three containers stand in two neat rows, ready for export to the distant African continent. Shining brilliantly under the sun, each piece embodies the wisdom and sweat of Hongtu's people, carrying the hopes of Sino-African cooperation. They will travel across mountains and rivers to contribute to the development of the African continent.
This project, located in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, is the first modern urea project in East Africa. With an annual capacity of 180,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 300,000 tons of urea, the project will create approximately 2,500 jobs during construction and over 1,800 long-term stable jobs after completion, significantly boosting local economic and social development. 


Hongtu Company's winning bid for the Zambia United Capital 300,000-ton/year fertilizer project, specifically the general shell and tube heat exchanger (1) section, includes 16 heat exchangers and 3 containers. This marks Hongtu's first export of non-standard chemical equipment. The project's construction will significantly alleviate Zambia's fertilizer shortage and serve as a new engine for industrial and agricultural development. 
Over the years, Hongtu Company has stood out in the pressure vessel design and manufacturing industry, thanks to its leading innovations, strong technical capabilities, and numerous successful collaborations. It has continuously empowered industry partners, completing heat exchanger manufacturing projects for numerous large-scale domestic projects, including China Five Rings Engineering, Jingmen Petrochemical, Hualu Hengsheng Co., Ltd., Shaowu Yonghe Jintang New Materials Co., Ltd., Yunnan Energy Investment Silicon Materials Technology Development Co., Ltd., and Inner Mongolia Yonghe Fluorochemical Co., Ltd. Looking ahead, Jingmen Hongtu Company will use this export to Africa as an opportunity to continue driving development through innovation, ensuring quality through technology, continuously expanding international markets, providing global customers with higher-quality heat exchange equipment and services, and continuously exploring the forefront of heat exchange technology to contribute more to industry development.

On April 28, 2025, a ceremony celebrating the 100th anniversary of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and awarding national model workers and advanced workers was held in Beijing. Comrade Li Zhongjiang from Jingmen Hongtu Company under CIMC Enric, as an outstanding representative of industry skills, stood on the podium of this supreme honor and was awarded the honorary title of National Model Worker by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council of the People's Republic of China.
