Riding the Wind and Waves to a New Journey, Ensuring Safety to Climb New Heights - Jingmen Hongtu, a subsidiary of CIMC Enric, launched the 2024 "Safety 100" and "HSE Management Training for Engineering Projects" activities


Spring is returning, and all things are renewed. On February 19 (the tenth day of the first month of the lunar calendar), Jingmen Hongtu Company, a subsidiary of CIMC Enric, ushered in its first auspicious day after the Spring Festival holiday.

Auspicious Start, Safety First

 

At 9:00 am, in accordance with the work deployment of the group and the sector, Hongtu Company launched the "Safety First, Zero Violations, Zero Accidents" themed Safety 100 activity. The activity aims to strengthen the company's safety management level, comprehensively improve employees' safety awareness, ensure that the company's safe production in 2024 remains stable and improves, and promote the company's production and operation to a new level. Zheng Zhijun, general manager of Jingmen Hongtu Company, led all employees to participate in this activity, which was hosted by Dai Wencheng, deputy manager of the Safety Lean Department.

General Manager Zheng first welcomed and congratulated the employees on their safe return to work. He pointed out that safety is the prelude to our stable operation throughout the year. He emphasized that managers at all levels should take the responsibility of "always being concerned" to ensure safety, and that improving employees' safety awareness should be the primary task of safety management; the whole company should always adhere to the work guideline of "safety first, prevention first, comprehensive management," further improve the safety production responsibility system, and strictly implement the safety production due diligence system; project managers should establish the awareness of being the first responsible person for safety production, actively participate in various safety training programs, accelerate the improvement of comprehensive safety production quality and skills, and continuously enhance their ability to perform their duties.

 


Wang Zheng from the parts workshop made a safety commitment on behalf of the manufacturing site employees, and Chen Rui, the project manager, made a safety commitment on behalf of all project managers. They stated that they would always focus on the theme of "safety first, zero violations, zero accidents," firmly establish the awareness of safety red lines, implement safety into all processes, links, and positions of production management, ensure that responsibilities are implemented without dead ends and supervision and management without blind spots, and ensure safety in survival and promote development in safety.

Following this, General Manager Zheng Zhijun and four senior executives, Deputy General Managers Tu Xiaohong, Xiao Xuewen, Fu Rongming, and Assistant General Manager Meng Hua, signed the 2024 HSE production responsibility letter.


Then, Deputy General Managers Xiao Xuewen and Fu Rongming, General Manager Tang Xiaoming of the Manufacturing Management Center, QHSE Manager Yuan Longquan, a representative of manufacturing site employees, and a representative of project managers signed the 2024 HSE responsibility letter. Executive Deputy Director Xiao, head of the HSE Committee, led all employees in shouting the safety slogan: "Safety First, Zero Violations, Zero Accidents."


To effectively promote the continuous improvement of HSE management level in various units and further stimulate employees' enthusiasm and the ability of all employees to improve safety, awards were also presented to employees who won awards at the holding company's 2023 HSE improvement presentation. Auspicious start, safety first. Everyone should always keep the safety string tight in their hearts, fundamentally improve safety awareness, and achieve the intrinsic safety of the enterprise.

   

Finally, led by General Manager Zheng, all employees orderly passed through the safety gate and signed a commitment on the banners and posters of "Safety First, Zero Accidents, Zero Violations," and the strong safety culture atmosphere infected and influenced every employee.


Remember in Heart, Practice in Action

After the Safety 100 activity, the company conducted HSE management training for on-site engineering projects. General Manager Zheng gave important instructions to all project managers, pointing out that in 2024, at a new starting point, the company will organize two project manager training sessions each year to urge project managers to perform their duties, abide by rules and regulations, further establish the awareness of being the first responsible person for safety production, actively participate in various safety training programs, accelerate the improvement of comprehensive safety production quality and skills, and continuously enhance their ability to perform their duties; at the same time, the mechanism for hidden danger investigation and governance and risk classification and control will be implemented item by item and quickly to the engineering project site to prevent the occurrence of systemic risks, always keep the safety string tight, and persistently do a good job in the safety management of project sites to ensure that the company's engineering business achieves new successes.

A year's plan starts in spring, and safe production must come first. All production workshops and project sites of the company have successively started their busy mode. Hongtu employees will surely take responsibility as their mast, raise the sails of safety, forge ahead bravely, and strive for the first quarter, sprinting for a "good start."
