European market breakthrough: CIMC Enric's Jingmen Hongtu Company signs an LPG buried tank order with AVIG Group

Recently, Jingmen Hongtu Company, a subsidiary of CIMC Enric, held a signing ceremony for an LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) buried tank project with AVIG Group, a European company. Mr. Biro, CEO of AVIG Group, and Mr. Fu Rongming, Deputy General Manager of Hongtu Company, attended the signing ceremony.

AVIG Group is a leading liquefied petroleum gas operator in the European country and holds a significant market share in the Balkan region, including Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, and Greece. This project between Hongtu Company and AVIG Group involves four 4500m³ LPG buried tanks, which are more complex and challenging to construct than conventional buried tanks.

A buried steel storage tank is a steel container used for storing media at ambient temperature, with its outer surface completely covered by soil, except for process connections and safety accessories. Compared to existing storage technologies, buried steel storage tanks offer advantages such as high safety, improved land utilization, less environmental impact on media temperature, and stable process operation. They are gradually replacing large above-ground pressure storage vessels internationally. Buried steel storage tank technology is of great significance in implementing the national energy conservation and carbon reduction development strategy, promoting energy structure adjustment and industrial upgrading, and enhancing China's pressure vessel construction capabilities and modernization level.
