Steering towards high-quality development, striving to create high-quality projects - Leaders of Hubei Special Equipment Inspection and Testing Institute visit the ball tank project site for guidance and inspection

Recently, as the 300MW compressed air energy storage power station demonstration project spherical tank project in Yingcheng, Hubei, undertaken by Jingmen Hongtu Company under CIMC Enric, commenced, Director Kang Zichao and Section Chief Feng Aihua from the Hubei Special Equipment Inspection and Testing Institute visited the project site to provide guidance and conduct on-site inspections of the engineering product quality.
It is understood that the 8 sets of 3500m³ hot water thermal storage system spherical tank installation projects undertaken by our company are the world's first 300MW non-supplementary combustion compressed air energy storage power station project, a demonstration project for Hubei Province, and currently the largest spherical tank project within the China Energy Construction system.
Director Kang and his team listened to the project manager's report on the current progress of the project, and conducted on-site inspections of the spherical tank construction site. At each construction point, they carefully inquired about the construction progress and difficulties. The project manager answered the questions raised by the leaders. At the same time, a thorough inspection was conducted on the project's system documents (on-site organizational structure, establishment of the quality assurance system, construction plan and construction organization design, etc.), management of the on-site welding materials primary and secondary warehouses, and re-inspection of the on-site spherical shell plates.
Through the on-site inspection, Director Kang and his team gained a more intuitive and comprehensive understanding of the actual situation of the Yingcheng spherical tank project site and affirmed the work done by the project team in the early stage. During the inspection, Director Kang affirmed the quality management of the project site and emphasized the importance of building a demonstration project. Finally, Director Kang stressed that Hongtu Company should strictly control quality standards, strictly control process quality, and adhere to the dual focus on engineering quality and safety production, effectively carrying out construction safety protection work; the project team should actively coordinate, overcome difficulties, and orderly advance the project progress under the premise of ensuring quality and safety, striving to complete the project successfully as soon as possible. At the same time, the Special Inspection Institute will also actively strengthen communication and contact with the project construction and installation parties, and make every effort to provide support and services for the early operation of the project.
