Liquid chlorine （ Cl 2 ）Horizontal storage tanks are pressure vessels used to store liquid chlorine and are widely used in chemical, water treatment 、 pharmaceutical and other fields. Its main structure is a horizontal cylinder with elliptical heads at both ends, its design can be GB/T150-2024 rule-based or GB/T4732-2024 analysis-based design. According to the climatic characteristics of the place of use and the actual operating temperature of the medium, steel plates applicable to -20 ℃ and Q345R steel plates applicable to -40 ℃ and 16MnDR ℃ can be selected.
Double-container tanks used to store toxic media (liquid chlorine, hydrogen fluoride, chloromethane, ethylene oxide, etc.) are jacketed tanks with a double-protection design to prevent leakage and environmental pollution. A leak detection system can be installed between the inner and outer tanks to ensure that the outer tank can still safely contain the leaked material if the inner tank fails, buying valuable time for emergency response.
