Product Description
Liquefied Petroleum Gas ( Liquefied Petroleum Gas, LPG ) Buried storage tanks are a storage method in which tanks are fully or partially buried underground. It is basically consistent with the application scope and design parameters of general above-ground horizontal vessels, and also has the following characteristics:
- High safety: fire and explosion prevention, impact resistance, lightning protection.
- Space utilization and aesthetics: saves ground space, suitable for sites with limited land; buried design reduces visual pollution.
- Temperature stability: The insulation of the soil minimizes temperature fluctuations inside the tank, reduces pressure changes caused by thermal expansion and contraction, and lowers the risk of frequent safety valve activation.
Double containment tanks used for storing toxic media (liquid chlorine, hydrogen fluoride, chloromethane, ethylene oxide, etc.) are jacketed tanks. Through a double protection design, they prevent leakage from polluting the environment. A leak detection system can be installed between the inner and outer tanks to ensure that the outer tank can safely contain leaked material if the inner tank fails, gaining maximum time for emergency response.
No specific design parameters; generally customized according to customer requirements.
