Liquefied Petroleum Gas ( Liquefied Petroleum Gas, LPG ) horizontal storage tanks are pressure vessels used to store liquefied petroleum gas 、 propane or propylene-butane mixtures. They are widely used in industrial, commercial, and residential areas (such as gas stations and chemical plants). The main body is a horizontally placed cylindrical structure. ， Its design can be GB/T150-2024 designed according to regulations or GB/T4732-2024 analytically designed. Appropriate -20 ℃ Q345R steel plates and applicable -40 ℃ 16MnDR steel plates are selected based on the climate characteristics of the location of use.
Double-walled tanks used to store toxic media (liquid chlorine, hydrogen fluoride, chloromethane, ethylene oxide, etc.) are jacketed tanks. A double-protection design prevents leaks and environmental pollution. A leak detection system can be installed between the inner and outer tanks to ensure that the outer tank can safely contain leaks if the inner tank fails, allowing for maximum time for emergency response.
